Like you my frenulum (the web of skin below the head of the glans between it and the foreskin, to clarify) prevented my foreskin from comfortably staying retracted, so I also had it cut/divided, which now allows full retraction and it will stay there for as long as I want - from hours to months on one occasion/period.
