.....my heart was pumping out troponin (a heart enzyme) in response to a raging UTI that had been treated w/ 10 days of antibiotics and I was feeling much better but there was a resistant bacteria that infected my blood stream and created "sepsis". If I'd waited to go to ER 2 more days I might not have been here to tell the story. My card dr said I could resume all previous activities - gym, jacuzzi, and sex! I'm delighted. Getting better every day. Thanks for all the kind messages. xo
