The Velvet Rope

The Velvet Rope is a long-running on-premise social club in southeast Portland, open Friday and Saturday from 8 pm to 3 am and Sunday from 8 pm to 2 am. It has two bars, a large dance floor, two hot tubs, a group play room, private and viewing-window rooms and a smoking section. Membership is required and bought at the door after a security check, and first-time visitors sign a release and take a mandatory tour. Theme nights run most weekends.
