Black's Beach

Black's Beach is a stretch of about two miles of sand below 300 foot sandstone cliffs in the Torrey Pines area of San Diego. The northern portion, managed by California State Parks, is used as a clothing-optional beach, while nudity is not allowed on the city-managed southern end. Access is by steep trails near the Torrey Pines Gliderport, which has a free dirt parking lot, or by walking the shoreline at low tide. Lifeguards patrol the beach year round and strong rip currents are common.
