Gray Whale Cove State Beach (Edun)

Gray Whale Cove State Beach is a small cove on Highway 1 south of Pacifica, reached by a steep path and stairway from a parking lot across the highway. The rocky northern end, known locally as Edun Beach, is still used as a clothing-optional area, although nudity is not officially permitted in California state parks. The beach is open daily from 8 am to sunset and dogs are not allowed.
