Bad Rap for Masturbation?
I've always felt thatmmasturbation gets a bad rap. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Sure, sex with a partner can be great but so can sex by yourself if you take a little trouble with it. After all, who's a better partner than yourself when it comes to knowing what you like and how best to do it? So make a date with yourself, get clean, light some candles, and love yourself!
In some parts of the Midwest US, masturbation has more of a social stigma attached to it than having an affair. I grew up in an area where things were real f'ed up and if I rated things from worst you could do/be to most acceptable it would be:
1. Gay/Lesbian
2. Black
3. Bisexual
4. Hispanic
5. Maturbation
6. extra-marital affairs
7. sex/kids before getting married
8. unmarried adult
9 married adult
Most people viewed anything from 7 -9 as "acceptable", 4-6 as "tolerable", and 1-3 as "nearly intolerable". I must say that is something I don't miss about where I grew up...
