Højen Strand

Højen Strand is the long, wide sandy beach below Gammel Skagen (Højen) on the west coast at the tip of Jutland. The stretch near the village is a busy family bathing beach in summer, while the dunes and shore further south are used by naturists. Nude bathing is generally tolerated on Danish beaches as long as visitors keep a considerate distance from clothed bathers. There are no facilities on the quieter southern section.

Close to the northern tip of Denmark, on the west coast, just next to and south of the town of Hoejen (Gl. Skagen).
