There are only places to get down to the path and water. The "Park" has only one gate with a guard-shack . The easy walk on concrete path is just below the entrance. You can't miss it. It is well marked. The other place to enter the path is from the far far East end of the lower parking lot (main lot) you'll see a sign also. It is well marked. That East end has a very steep rock "stair" with roots and large rock to get down to the main path. It will dump you right at the 2ed bathroom area.

Main thing it to bring WATER, WATER, sunscreen, a lunch if you stay the day, NO GLASS - PLEASE!! You can also enjoy a chair or butt padding for sitting on the rocks, ice cooler, hat etc.
Me- I have tennis shoes or good shoes and bring a small cooler with water, electrolytes, lunch, beer/whiskey, sunscreen and a chair. Sometimes I just keep everything at the truck and walk around visiting with out carrying anything.
