Glans ring and urination
Return to DiscussionsOK-dumb question (maybe)... I've worn a custom-fitted cock ring for years, and it's on pretty much 24/7. Been experimenting with glans rings, and challenged with a couple of things.
1. what is the "right" size. So keeping it on during the day or when bating (with lube) and it slips off.
2. urination... does anyone else find that even when "shaking" (a lot) after peeing, you still dribble?
I like the look and feel when I'm naked, but don't like having wet spots....
I suspect it's mainly a matter of the normal aging process. Prostate enlargement/hardening is making getting the last bit of urine out more difficult. Shaking likely will not help. Wait a bit and 'push' a bit. Just my opinion. The bit of reading I've done makes me believe that frequent ejaculation can improve prostate 'health' and lessen the issues. I remember seeing a guy at a nudist resort and he dripped as he was talking to me and the lady I was with; we both noticed (seemed to lack viscosity for precum so I suspect it was uring). I'd love to hear what others think.
Yeah, I find a glans ring can get in the way of shaking and squeezing effectively. I just live with it .
As to size my hardware-store ones with an inside diameter of 28 mm stay on in everything except rough surf, although smaller (say, 25 mm) may be more secure. I think I found that to be fine when wearing rubber o-rings. The smallest I've achieved was my wedding band that is a serious effort to put on and, for the first try, completely blocked the urethera. Subsequent wearings did not block it, but it was certainly restricted.
