Has anyone used a laser hair remover?

I would love to permanently remove some of my hair. Amazon has some laser units for home use. Does it really work?

Yes it works but only with dark hair on a pale skin. I tried several different forms of DIY laser treatment, following all the rules. NoNo was the easiest to use. But, because it only works on dark hair ( not red hair , blond or gray) I was left with a gray bush.

My wife and I both had all of our body hair removed by laser. It cost about $1,000 each and took ten trips for me and a few more for her because it was a challenge to remove the hairs near the opening of her pussy. Afterward we both couldnt stop touching ourselves. The process makes the skin where the pubic hairs were softer and you feel more naked than before. Now its a bit of a turnoff when people were with have pubic hair. We love smooth bodies.

i got a remington home hair removal IPL unit. It works well, and extends the time between shaves by burning the hair below the surface. It is done by the light absorbed by the dark hair. shave first, then laser it down below. It says it will weaken the root and growth will over time of use become weak and dissapear. But, no good on gray hair, or blond, also as i get a tan in spring summer i had to stop using it during summer as the darker tone of skin meant it would start to absorb the heat into the skin and not just the hair. Now its November I have just started using it again, it feels great. But yet to see and loss of hair growth over all.

I had laser treatment at a clinic it is not painful and as others have mentioned it only works on dark hair so I do need a little bit of maintenance but on the whole it was worth it.
