Smooth All-over
nudists who like the feeling and outlook of their own smooth bodyand like the smooth look of others. so not partial shaved/smooth but totally body-smooth,
How do you get smooth?
Return to DiscussionsAlternatively get a professional waxing. I did that for a few years and enjoyed the care and attention she gave me during the "Intimate" waxing. I had it done maybe 10 times a year. At 120 UKP per time I realised I could afford another (nude) holiday on what I was spending. That's why I stopped. Nair and Veet cost much less.
I tried Veet. After the time was up I rinsed off..... Still had a lot of hair around my balls. So I re-applied and left it on for a shorter amount of time - as per the instructions.
It took the top layer of skin off in one small patch, but left the hair. Now I just shave. It was bloody uncomfortable for a few days I can tell you. I'm too cautious now to even try Nair.
Now I have a lighter patch of skin on the right side of my scrotum lol. Under NO circumstances would I recommend Veet !!!
I like Veet better than Nair. Magic Cream even better. Magic Shave powder is as good and cheaper but a little messier.
I have found there is a fine line between removing hair and burning skin. Just a minute or two. The time on the sack is critical, not so much on the legs and tougher skin.
All of them will tell you to wait a day before applying again.
Later,
I shave in the shower. I lather everything up, it feels good. I shave my face and then my middle. I use a Gillette Fusion razor and find I seldom get any nicks. For me, the secret was doing it for a year + before everything started to go really well. By then my skin had become accustomed to shaving. I shave every 1 to 3 days depending on my mood. Love being smooth. I feels good.
I geuss I've tried everything there is:
- did Veet for some time, worked perfectly for me. There is a Veet for Men, which is more like a gel. Leaving it on a bit too long might burn a little bit, mut not too much.
- shaved, too, just using a cheap disposable Wilkinson razor, dry. My body hair including pubic hair is rather thin and soft, so dry shaving was easy and no itching when growing back
- I also tried IPL hair removal for my whole back, chest, stomach, butt incl crack, perineum, parts of the pubes. Not the scrotum coz I was told skin is too delicate there for IPL. Results VERY limited, unfortunately, because my hair is too thin and light so IPL is not really effective
- tried laser on all parts mentioned above, same result, i.e. not much
- after moving to Bangkok, started waxing, which of course works fine and is cheap here. However, the claim that waxing keeps you smooth longer is myth. On the one hand, yes it will stay smooth longer than after shaving, but then after they start to grow back you have to let them grow to a certain minimum length to be able to wax again. So on average it's not smooth longer. In fact shorter, because when you shave you can do it every day and thus be smooth 100% of the time
- Eventually I did manage to permanently get rid of the hair on my chest, balls, perineum and around the anus by doing electrolysis. That's obviously a very slow, painstaking process, but it works reliably and, importantly, on any type of hair including thin, light, grey, whatever. They injected anesthetic beforehand, so it was painless.
The pubic hair above the penis I kept and just keep it trimmed very short (3mm) because I find it looks better on me than totally smooth. Back and stomach I continue to wax, too much to do electrolysis on.
Electrolysis sounds like the way to go. You say it is the slowest and most painful. How much of an area can they cover in a session? Is it a one-pass thing or several passes?
I would like to get rid of some hair but I should have done it 20 years ago to be cost effective!
Thanks,
